About Home for Home

Our mission is to bring relief to low-income families in Mexico, by providing them with a comfortable, livable home.

We recruit and empower teams to join us in Northern Baja California, Mexico for a weekend experience team members will never forget. A typical Home for Home weekend begins at the San Diego Airport, where team members are picked up by van and transported to Rosarito.

Day-1:

After a hearty breakfast, the team arrives at the job site ready for action. By 5:00 in the afternoon, the house is finished and ready for dedication.

Day-2:

In the morning, the team ventures into a nearby neighborhood and presents the story of the Gospel to people, inviting them to join Jesus’ forever family. In the afternoon, we host a “Hotdog Fiesta” welcoming neighborhood residents for an awesome party.

Day-3:

In the morning, the team enjoys a worship service at Calvary Chapel Rosarito, before returning to the San Diego Airport for the trip home.

This three-day experience has a transforming effect on every team member, and on all those who are blessed by their generosity. All of this is made possible through our partnership with Baja Christian Ministries, which gives leadership to our home building experience and our ministry outreaches.

Home for Home is recognized by the IRS as a 501c3 charitable organization, making donations tax deductible.
